Born from lineage.
From my mother came V. Linder —
In the Netherlands this means: the Butterfly.
From my father came Van Kruijssen —
the crossing, the X.
Between them lies a threshold.
X is the crossing.
The descent.
The place where one enters rather than escapes.
Where the old form can dissolve
so something else does not have to be forced into being.
The butterfly does not emerge by command.
It descends first.
It enters the dark,
the cocoon,
the unknown.
And then, in its own rhythm,
it emerges.
Butterfly X is therefore not only transformation.
It is the wisdom of the crossing:
descent → transformation → emergence.
A movement through lineage,
through the body,
through the roots,
through the origin —
until emergence is no longer something to achieve,
but something that happens naturally.
Born from lineage.
Held by the crossing.
Emerging from within.
